Made a trip to 大中国 to buy mooncakes for grandma, MIL and colleagues.

Since SG doesn’t have Twitter, I’ll just record quick messages here…
There may be a silver lining behind my taxi travails after all.
Once I neared my office, the heavens opened and it started pouring. Made me feel slightly better because I was thinking I was wasting my money because the rain started abating 5 minutes into my taxi ride.
But damn… the near $30 fare hurts…
Called for a cab but the CityCab driver took me for a ride. Said he wanted to avoid the traffic jam and said he had an alternate route. I thought he had some brilliant route that I didn’t know about but what he did was to go ONE BIG ROUND and end up rejoining that road with the traffic jam, albeit at a distance down.
Grrr…I hope his original intentions were good…
Went to this coffeeshop near YL’s place to try the zi char. It was recommended in the papers or something. Tried the food there but it was nothing special. Bumped into ABC there as well. He later told me that the zi char was gonna close down due to increasing coffeeshop rental. No big loss…
Just got on the bus to meet HY for lunch at the hawker centre nearby.
While on my way walking to the coffeeshop to buy dinner before going to MPS, I came to this small flight of stairs just outside the multi-storey car park. There was this stupid guy sitting on the steps and I had to make a slight detour around him.
It’s called a “STEP”, not a “SAT”
Darn it… My feet are hurting. It’s a race between my feet and shoes to see which will get seasoned first…
Still in a rush to meet the guy to buy the vouchers. I’m queueing up to withdraw money from the DBS ATM in front of the Tang’s food mart now…
I bought Taka vouchers over the Internet and I arranged to meet the seller at Orchard MRT. We were supposed to meet at 1930H, but he called to say he would be 15 minutes late. Look at the time now! Don’t think he’ll be the one who’s late…
Anyway, the plan is for Esh to drop me off somewhere near Orchard MRT while she goes to park the car…
After seeing one of those newspaper ads where they show a photo of a yoga practitioner with her back to the camera and her hands pressed together palm-to-palm, I was thinking to myself: “what’s the big deal? I can do that too!”
And I did it… For all of 5 seconds before my shoulders started cramping and I had to shake it off for about 2 minutes before recovering.
Stupid yoga…
