While at a foodcourt for lunch, heard “The Reason” being played. Nice.

Tuckshop Laksa
For my first day in Primary School, my mum accompanied me for most of the day and she brought me to the tuckshop for lunch. The first item I bought on my own (of course with some coaching from mum) was a bowl of laksa.
For the next few days, I ordered nothing else but laksa as that was the only thing I was confident of ordering…
Akan Datang
Looks like SIL’s flat is shaping up quite well. The family (ex-SIL) went to the flat to check on the progress.
Feeding time
Both Esh and myself are in our car. We’re waiting for her parents and her maid to come back to the car while L-A is being fed.
Touch-me-nots “demo”ed to L-A
Esh found some mimosas while we were walking to a coffeeshop to enjoy a steaming bowl of laksa. She then proceeded to touch them with her sandals while showing how they closed upon contact to L-A. L-A seemed to be a bit curious about them.
Monkey business in the morning
While walking to the bus stop, I found this monkey sitting on top of a lamp post
Free Microsoft Project Viewer
I did feature OpenProj as one of my open source recommendations not too long ago, and it has since been acquired by Serena Software. However, there is an irritating bug with the software where some of the task dates are calculated wrongly.
In this case, you’ll need to download a MS Project Viewer so you can view the files correctly. One software that was recommended by my colleague that represented the date correctly is LiveProject. You won’t be able to edit files though…
Standing Around
Right now, I’m standing in front of a Home-Fix store where there’s a guy with a portable mic and speaker extolling the benefits of his portable steam cleaner. I’m just waiting for Esh and the maid to finish loading up the car with the groceries that we had bought from NTUC. Didn’t go with them as L-A was sleeping in the Baby Bjorn baby carrier that I was wearing.
Visit to AMK Hub
L-A really enjoyed herself today. Was also the first time that we brought the maid out shopping with us. She commented that Singapore was really a very crowded place!
